CHUG: Reminder: 2015 Edition CEHRT Requirements: 1 week left
We’re committed to supporting your preparation for the 2019 CMS (Medicare and Medicaid) quality payment programs. For those reporting on the Promoting Interoperability performance category, you must be on 2015 Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT) before starting your 2019 90-day performance period. With just over 1 week remaining, it’s time to confirm that you’ve enabled the complete 2015 CEHRT solution set:
- Centricity™ EMR 9.12 or Centricity Practice Solution 12.3
- Centricity Integration with Azure, our Azure Active Directory (AAD) solution
- CCDA 2.1
- Patient Portal and Secure Messaging
- Centricity Patient API
- ePrescribing 4.2.2 or higher
- Other: Syndromic, Immunization, and CCDA interfaces

Where do I find helpful resources on enabling all these 2015 CEHRT solutions?
Log in to the Customer Portal and select the Community tab and your product, followed by the Upgrade Resources button. From there, click on the link to 2015 Edition CEHRT or other pages like Technical Planning and Education.
How do I confirm that we’ve completed our 2015 CEHRT readiness steps?
Review this post install checklist which walks through the steps for verifying your configuration for our suite of 2015 CEHRT solutions. CMS does not expect you to attest to being compliant with 2015 Edition CEHRT. They do state that “2015 Edition functionality must be in place by the first day of the Promoting Interoperability performance period.” Refer to the CMS 2019 Promoting Interoperability Performance Category Fact Sheet, page 4, for more information.
